SANYANG MOTOR CO., LTD. was established in 1954, cooperating with Honda, Japan at the first place. After 60 years of development, SANYANG MOTOR stepped out to overseas market under SYM brand.

SYM now have 3 major production facilities located in Taiwan, China, and Vietnam while having subsidiary development centers in Italy, and Germany.
